Snakes Downunder Reptile Park is affordable entertainment for the whole family to enjoy. Your host Ian Jenkins has been handling snakes for over 40 years. Spending part of his childhood in Kenya, he had many opportunities to handle snakes but it wasn’t till coming to Australia that his ambition to handle the world’s most deadly snakes was fulfilled.
Through his presentation it is hoped that you will come to understand a little more about our native reptiles and their place in our environment. During the show Ian will dispel the idea that the only good snake is a dead one. The arena provides a safe and secure position to view these hypnotic reptiles in a relaxed, informal atmosphere where you have the opportunity to ask questions and take photographs as each of the twelve or more venomous and non-venomous snakes is being handled. Saltwater Croc- Snakes Downunder Reptile Park Childers Qld

We now have a pair of adult salt-water crocodiles. Both can be viewed in complete safety via a covered walkway allowing you to get so close to these amazing animals that you feel you could reach out and touch them.
A daily feeding display is accompanied by a full commentary on these unique reptiles.

Visitors are encouraged to stroll through the Snakes Downunder Reptile Park taking in the many displays housing lizards, turtles, dragons and monitors and a walk-through tropical vivarium housing frogs and more dragons.

Staff are always available to make sure you can see the animals on display and answer any questions you may have.

One of the highlights is The Snake House. The glass fronted enclosures with beautifully painted background habitat scenes offer a first class opportunity to view some of the country's most most dangerous and beautiful snakes.

We operate a canteen where refreshments can be purchased and there are numerous shaded picnic tables where you can sit and relax.
